I'm sick and tired, of being sick and tired...

Okay peeps, I'm done with the mood I've been in for the past week and a half! Yea, things kinda suck sometimes, yea, I have a lot of stuff on my plate, yea, I'm a single mom of an almost three year old (and that stress is enough for any one person!!) and yea, I have things that I need to do, stuff I wish I could change, but the fact of the matter is, I'm sick and tired, of being sick and tired! I refuse to be a "Debbie Downer" anymore!!!

This week I am going to put forth a conscious effort to be happier. I'm going to start getting up and doing something physical in the morning, I'm going to eat right, and dammit I'm gonna get a good nights sleep!! So there's my little rant. Any tips on keeping a positive a attitude, when you kinda just want to curl up in a ball until all the bad stuff goes away? Healthy eating tips? Ways to keep motivated about working out? I'd love to hear all!

I know exactly what you mean. It sucks getting into that mood, and it's even harder to get out of it.

Tips for working out? Basically, just do it. Even when I don't want to do it, I just do it and I, without fail, feel better every single time. One thing I do is automatically put on my workout clothes and get ready (fix my hair, put sunblock on, etc.). I tell myself I don't have to go out but I do because I put forth effort into getting ready and didn't want to waste it. Or I'll tell myself "Just 10 mins." Once I start, I keep going. Getting started is the hard part.

Healthy eating tips: I love to eat. I love food. I've found out that eating small meals every two hours works better for me than eating three big blocks of meals. You just have to find what works best for you.

Oh, I know you just finished a challenge, but this challenge actually helped me out A LOT with my outlook. I was really surprised that even after the 14 days, my level of gratefulness was still maintained. It's called the Count Your Blessings challenge. It's here: http://pearlsandpears.blogspot.com/p/bliss-challenge.html.

I wish you luck! :)

That's what I keep telling myself! You know you're going to feel better when you get done, so just get up and do it! I think I'll try the small meals tactic, see if it works for me, maybe it will help my eating habits. I'm one to not eat till dinner, and then be starving and over eat.

And I remember that challenge, seems like a good way to keep good outlook on the everyday, I think I'll do it...

Thanks for the thoughts and words of encouragement!! :)
